Environmental Working Group (EWG), a non-profit, non-partisan organization that researches toxic chemicals in common products, recently tested popular cereals, granola bars, and instant oatmeal products for traces of glyphosate.

Glyphosate is the active ingredient in Monsanto’s Roundup products. This report is only the latest in a rush of recent news around the chemical giant.

EWG tested foods containing conventionally grown oats as well as products with organically grown oats.

Results showed glyphosate was present in all but two of 45 samples of products made with conventionally grown oats. The full report includes levels found in each product.

A California jury recently found Monsanto liable for $289 million in damages in a lawsuit claiming that glyphosate caused a school groundskeeper’s cancer.
